Bobby Bones is the full time mentor on American Idol. This season he's given lots of advice through each stage of the process for the contestants. Last night (March 31st) the Top 40 contestants were in Hawaii at Disney Aulani to perform solo on stage and compete for the Top 24 spots. One of the contestants competing named Emma Kleinberg performed an emotional and awesome set, but didn't make it to the Top 24 due to the "fierce competition."
Even Bones was surprised that Kleinberg didn't make it to the next round so he invited her to join his band Bobby Bones and The Raging Idiots for upcoming travel dates. He tweeted,
"well, I was shocked that @ekleinbergmusic didn't make it through on #americanidol. so shocked that I offered her a job playing/singing with my band immediately. She will be with us in Bakersfield and more! #americanidol"
