Man in his 60s Wei Jianguo found what he believed to be the best solution to get away from his family and drink plus smoke as much as he wanted.
Jianguo has been living at Beijing Capital International Airport for 14 years. He has a set up of his food, belongings, and sleeping bag in a waiting area. He told China Daily a few years back that he has no freedom at home, and if he were to go home then he'll be forced to quit drinking and smoking. His family's home is roughly 12 miles away from the airport.
