Amy finalized her divorce after being sworn in over the phone while at work! In the middle of the show, she snuck out and took the call.
She was asked to raise her right hand, but no one was watching her to make sure she actually did it. She confirmed to them her right hand was raised, and repeated all the things they asked her to. This was the final part of the finalization of her divorce. Since it had been going on for so long, she didn’t think she was going to be emotional about it, but when she came back into the studio when it was done, she realized she kind of was. The whole day felt weird for her, but she knew that was normal.
