Lunchbox Spills the Tea on Eddie’s Smokin’ Hot Chicken Business

Eddie had this whole business plan with his Smokin’ Hot Chicken and even set up a subscription base model for repeating customers, but he’s already failing to deliver on his promise.

Only three weeks into his business, Lunchbox overheard him apologize to the two people he had subscriptions orders with that he was unable to fulfill their orders. Eddie gave two reasons why it happened. One was that he and his family were headed out of town that week and had a lot going on so he could not make them. The second was that the two customers usually text him their order, but they didn’t that week, so he did not want to force it and just assume they wanted a chicken.

The two subscribers work in the building, and they pay Eddie $20 a week plus tip for his chicken, but since they are subscribers, he’s thinking of lowering the price. He has sold about thirty chickens in the three weeks he’s been doing his business. It costs him $8 to buy the chicken, and it takes four hours to smoke it, so he is making a profit. He suggested bringing in his chicken for guests when they come in, but the show agreed it’s a bad idea. For now, Producer Eddie’s Smokin’ Chicken is still in business.
