Lunchbox is upset about an interaction he had at the grocery store.
He went to the store to get a pound of spicy pork sausage. He went to the deli counter and the only problem was that it was in the casing. He needed it loose because he was going to mix it with other things. As he put it on the scale, he asked the butcher if he could get it out of the casing, and they responded “That would be easy, but no.” He wrapped it up, put it on the counter, and walked away through the butcher's door and was not seen again. Lunchbox doesn’t think he didn’t do it because it was against store policy because the butcher would have told him if it was and thinks he just didn’t want to do it.
Everyone thought that the way Lunchbox asked him might have upset the butcher and there was maybe a bit more to the story. Bobby Bones is going to give him $10 to go back and buy another pound of spicy sausage and ask to get the casing taken off so they can see if it’s store policy for them to not cut it off, or if they are able to and the butcher just didn’t want to do it. If the next butcher he goes to cuts the casing off, he wants to call the store and get the previous butcher in trouble!
