The iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas was over the weekend, and listeners want some updates on how everything went!
Lunchbox and Eddie were originally put in a different hotel from everyone else and they considered it a downgrade. Lunchbox complained and got moved to the nicer one, and when Eddie landed in Las Vegas, he got a text from Scuba Steve that said they were able to upgrade him to the nicer one as well! He didn’t complain to anyone and thinks it happened because they heard him talking about it on the show. Scuba also got a huge upgrade and stayed in a nicer spot than usual. Some of their highlight performances were from Coldplay and Paramore!
While in Vegas, Lunchbox did his elevator karaoke bit with strangers. People in elevators are usually quiet and just look at their phone or the floor, so he tries to liven it up by singing karaoke to random people. He took audio of the experiences and first sang “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” by Kenny Chesney and no one joined. The next one he sang Tina Turner “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” and “Private Dancer.” Someone in the elevator asked him if he sang, but again, no one joined him. Then he was in a full elevator at 3 in the morning with a bunch of drunk women in their 50s and he sang Miley Cyrus “Party In The USA” and everyone joined in!
