Eddie wanted to pose a question for all the white people.
Being that Eddie is Mexican, he has darker complexion, which also means his hands have a darker look to them than a white person's. He has realized with his biological kids and his adoptive kids that there's an interesting distinction when it comes to washing hands. The white kids have to wash their hands more because they can see the dirt on them, meanwhile for Eddie and his biological kids, he feels like they don't wash their hands nearly as much because they can't see the dirt.
So he was curious if all white people feel like they need to wash their hands all the time because they can actually see the dirt. The show didn't really have answers for him, but admitted they do like to wash their hands a lot so it could be attributed to this.
