Thomas Rhett Drops Two New Songs As Part Of Upcoming Double Album

Thomas Rhett is gearing up for a busy year with a looming double album, Country Again: Side A and Side B, heading our way.

On Friday (March 5), Rhett dropped two singles off the project. Fans were treated to "Growing Up," a three-minute walk down memory lane, where the hitmaker highlights his life in recent years, as well as "Want It Again," a ballad about appreciating what you have before its gone. Both tracks are set to appear on the first of the double album release, Side A. The set features 11 songs in total.

"Good evening y’all, I never stay up till 11 o’clock, like ever, but I had to tonight just to share something with you," Rhett said in an Instagram Story. "We got a double album coming out this year, It’s called Country Again: Side A and Side B is going to come out later on this year but Side A comes out April the 30th."

"So much of this record was written right here with these amazing curtains and a lot y’all have been following along with me on Instagram this past couple years and i’ve shared a bunch of these songs with you on Instagram and on other social media platforms and man this is one of my favorite records i’ve ever gotten to make,” he continued. “I feel so centered as a person. A lot of these songs were written just kind of about the lessons i’ve learned over this decade and and 2020 which i’m sure a lot of y’all have."

In addition to releasing both album, Rhett has scheduled performances as part of Billy Bob's Texas 40th anniversary celebration. He will perform a concert residency at the Fort Worth hot spot from May 6 through May 8.
