Raymundo Wants to Set Amy Up With a Mystery Country Star

Amy's Reaction to Raymundo's Wildest Matchmaking Idea Yet Has Everyone Talking

When Raymundo says he has an idea, the rest of the Bobby Bones Show usually braces for impact. That's exactly what happened when he casually mentioned that he wanted to set Amy up with someone.

The catch? Amy had never heard about it.

At first, the idea sounded harmless enough. Bobby asked Amy whether she'd ever accept a setup from Ray, and she tried to keep an open mind. After all, she likes both Ray and his wife, Bae. But when Bobby clarified that Bae wasn't involved in this matchmaking mission at all, Amy became a little more skeptical.

As the conversation unfolded, Ray revealed that his mystery match was a country artist, someone the show knows and someone Bobby is friends with. Naturally, the guesses started flying.

One of the first names thrown out was Jon Pardi, which immediately sent the room into chaos. Amy quickly shut that idea down.

Then came even wilder guesses.

Keith Urban's name somehow entered the conversation, leading Amy to laugh at the idea that she could ever compete with someone like Nicole Kidman. The rest of the crew wasn't having that kind of self-doubt, though, insisting Amy was selling herself way too short.

Ray, meanwhile, doubled down on his belief that Amy and his mystery country star would make a great-looking couple. He even pointed out that Amy has dated both older and younger people, prompting plenty of teasing from the studio.

As the conversation kept spiraling, Ray somehow veered into talking about his friend "South Beach," who may or may not work in the hotel business, is dating someone who lives in Mexico, and apparently has a life story that raised more questions than answers. The details only made everyone more confused, which is pretty much what happens anytime Ray starts explaining one of his friends.

In the end, no actual setup was made, no dates were scheduled, and Amy made it clear she's not looking to jump into the country music dating pool anytime soon. She admitted that dating someone in the industry probably isn't for her and joked that country stars tend to end up with "bombshell" partners anyway.

Of course, the rest of the show strongly disagreed.

Whether Ray ever finds the perfect match for Amy remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: if he's the one playing matchmaker, it's guaranteed to be an entertaining ride!
