A couple months back, Amy, co-host of the Bobby Bones Show, shared with the show that her dad was battling cancer. After surgery to remove the cancerous tumors from his throat and tongue, there were some complications.
Since the surgery, Amy and her family members have been flying down to Austin to help take care of him and be by his side. The most recent update from Amy shared that her father had finished his 33 rounds of chemotherapy treatment. He is on the upside of his battle, but there are still some things left to be done.
Today (November 2) Amy shared that things are still going well and he is happy. He has been singing and doing better. Now they're hoping to get the tube out of his throat so he can eat his first meal in a long time.
