Two special college graduates from two different universities were shocked to receive their degrees in the same ceremony. One Michigan woman missed her own commencement ceremony at Ferris State University to attend her son's graduation at Central Michigan University. To her surprise she also received her diploma from CMU's President.
The crowd naturally went wild as the mother and son duo walked across the stage one after another to receive their diplomas! The University President says it was just the right thing to do, to honor both of their hard work and dedication to their education. He says it was a very sweet and heartwarming moment to witness.
