Tyrese better not be playing with our emotions! The singer/actor posted on his Instagram that a "Baby Boy" sequel is in the works and we're hella shook.
Ty said that John Singleton will once again be working on the new film, as well. The 2001 movie starring Tyrese and Taraji P. Henson -- yes, she was a dope AF actress way before 'Empire' was around-- has been loved by fans for the past 16 years. We can't even believe it was released so long ago. Check out Ty's announcement video, which includes a clip from the movie.
"Sequel to Baby Boy coming soon..... #BabyBoyComingOfAge shout to @johnsingleton," Ty captioned his post. Since then, he's also been publishing jokes that only fans of "Baby Boy" would get. Check those out below.
