Sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose some. That was the case for Lunchbox during our 2019 CMT Remotes. He nailed a lot of his interviews, including his own with Trisha Yearwood. But not so much with Morgan Wallen.
Wallen is now at two #1 singles, first was his collaboration with Florida Georgia Line called "Up Down" and now, this week, his song "Whiskey Glasses" topped the charts. Lunchbox had a sheet in front of him with all of these facts, but despite that, he didn't see that it was two singles. Lunchbox thought "Whiskey Glasses" was Wallen's first ever number one single and was so stoked for him and even went to the extent of hyping him up during the interview. That was until Wallen corrected Lunchbox and then the room started awkwardly laughing.
