ABC Finally Revealed 'The Bachelorette' Premiere Date

Finally.

On Thursday (August 27), ABC revealed when The Bachelorette will return in a new promo for the upcoming season. And, yes, the promo does feature Clare Crawley instead of Tayshia Adams. As Bachelor Nation fans know, it's been rumored that Adams took over as the bachelorette mid-season after Crawley fell hard for one of her contestants.

When the show returns on October 13, at 8 p.m. ET., fans will finally find out what really went down at the La Quinta resort in Palm Springs. It's definitely possible that this season really will be the most dramatic one yet.

ABC has yet to confirm that Crawley stepped down mid-season. Like the new promo image, the press release about the upcoming season makes no mention of Adams' presence. Instead, it focuses on Crawley's journey from Bachelor contestant to The Bachelorette. “Clare had women across America cheering from their living rooms when she famously stood up to controversial Bachelor Juan Pablo [Galavis] during the memorable 18th season finale of The Bachelor,” the release reads. “Clare left the season with a new sense of self-worth and a determination to never settle for anything less than the unconditional love and respect that she deserved. Follow her passionate, wild ride to find her soul mate and the explosive turn of events that will have all of Bachelor Nation talking.”

With two possible engagements during season sixteen, it's sure to be memorable. Will you be tuning in?
