The 2022 CMT Music Awards celebrated country music’s biggest hitmakers during the highly-anticipated annual awards show on Monday evening (April 11). It was broadcast live from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium and other locations around the city, hosted by “HEARTFIRST” singer Kelsea Ballerini and Captain America star Anthony Mackie, and was packed with a star-studded lineup of performers and presenters.
Some performers to take the stage included: Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean with Bryan Adams, Jimmie Allen with Monica and Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett with Riley Green. Walker Hayes, Carrie Underwood, Mickey Guyton with Black Pumas, Old Dominion, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, Carly Pearce, Cole Swindell with Lainey Wilson and Keith Urban. Tons of artists and other celebrities also joined the star-studded list to introduce and present awards during the long-awaited show.
