Jana Kramer reflected on the process of building her new home from the ground up in the Nashville, Tennessee area. The country artist, podcast host and author — who is set to release her new book later this month — shared sweet memories with her two young children and fiancé Allan Russell along the way, and expressed that she’s “incredibly grateful” for the chapter ahead.

Kramer, who is expecting Baby No. 3, set the reel to the smash-hit sentimental anthem “Buy Dirt,” which Jordan Davis released with Luke Bryan on his latest full-length album: “Buy dirt/ Find the one you can't live without/ Get a ring, let your knee hit the ground/ Do what you love but call it work/ And throw a little money in the plate at church/ Send your prayers up and your roots down deep/ Add a few limbs to your family tree/ And watch their pencils marks/ And the grass in the yard/ All grow up/ ‘Cause the truth about it is/ It all goes by real quick/ You can't buy happiness/ But you can buy dirt.”

“I was ready to build my ‘acre’ that I talk about in my new book [The Next Chapter] in the final chapter of book but I never knew it would end up looking like this,” Kramer shared in her caption on Instagram on Thursday (October 12). “I was ready to start fresh and build a safe place for me and my kiddos…but to see how it’s all unfolded in more beautiful ways than I could have ever imagined makes me incredible grateful.”

Kramer announced earlier this year that she would release her book, The Next Chapter, which tells stories of “finding hope in the darkest of times.” It’s set to release on October 24. See Kramer’s memories with her family in the new home here:
