Reba McEntire gushed over a Team Reba singer’s performance on The Voice.
Katie O took the stage with McEntire’s “Turn On the Radio.” The beloved country megastar — who returned as a coach on the show alongside Gwen Stefani and first-time coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé — released the fiery anthem on her 10-track record, All the Women I Am, in 2010.
“Well, you can hear me on the radio / You wanna turn me on, turn on your stereo / You can sing along, while they're playin' our song / How you done me wrong / Baby, crank it up / Until you blow the speakers out your Chevy truck / So listen Romeo, when you're feelin' kinda lonely / Let me tell you where to go, oh / Turn on the radio”
“Katie O, you might have been singing a Reba song, but you made it a Katie O song,” McEntire said after the performance. She declared, “the winner of the knockout round is Katie O. …I’m really excited to bring Katie on to the playoffs. Even though she’s so young, she just exudes confidence and she loves what she’s doing, and that comes across when she performs.”
