Watch: Gabby Barrett Reveals Her List Of Ideas For Baby Names

Gabby Barrett revealed her list of baby names that she “loved,” but ended up not using when she welcomed her three children.

Barrett, who celebrated her 25th birthday on Wednesday (March 5), and her husband, musician and fellow American Idol alum Cade Foehner, 28, are parents to three young children. Their eldest child, daughter Baylah May, turned 4 in January. Son Augustine Boone arrived next. He turned 2 in October. Barrett’s youngest child, daughter Ivy Josephine, celebrated her first birthday in February.

Some of the other names Barrett said she liked include Sloan, Sparrow, Eowyn (Foehner is a Lord Of The Rings fan, Barrett explained), Ryder, and more. The Chapter & Verse artist also explained the story behind Baylah’s name, sharing that it started because she liked the name “Bailey,” which is Foehner’s sister’s name, and Barrett considered ways to make it different. Though Barrett took a moment to remember previous ideas for baby names, the singer-songwriter has not stated that she is expecting another child as of publication time on Friday (March 7).

Barrett recently introduced her Instagram followers to the newest member of her family, a Siberian Husky. Barrett said the stray dog appeared on the family’s porch in their small town in Texas, and she “couldn’t resist. I have such a heart for animals. …nobody was claiming her. So we decided to claim her ourselves.”
