“Mister, I'll take your roses/ If you cut off the thorns, she can't take no more/ I’ll buy violets and daisies to hide all the crazy, it's gonna take all you've got/ Aw, it's a bad day for love, but a good day for flower shops”

ERNEST’s album release show also included Worthington, Ella Langley, Jamey Johnson and more. The Nashville-born country star said on Tuesday (May 13) that “The Cadillac Sessions launch party was a huge success,” as he shared photos of the performance and the massive audience. The album is full of “organic sonics of honky tonk, Western swing, ‘90s country, and more collide with vivid imagery and modern hooks, becoming a hybrid of classic and cutting edge which positions each artist’s skill,” reads a press release issued last week. “We didn’t hold anything back. There is a timeless Americana feel and the old-Nashville mentality of ‘write your songs’ – and those guys wrote their songs,” ERNEST said in a statement of the first-ever DeVille Records project. “They all love classic country the same way I do, and we’re also with the times of the modern era – we ride those waves really well, too. I’m just happy to shed a little light on what they’re able to do.”
