Beckett DeJean, the younger brother of Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro cornerback Cooper DeJean, was arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated in Iowa, according to booking records from the Ida County Sheriff's Office.

DeJean, 20, was booked on a misdemeanor charge at 1:09 a.m. and released at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday (January 11), the Ida County Sheriff's Office's website states. A first-offense OWI can result in fines, license suspension and potential jail time in adherence to state laws, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation.

It's unclear as of Sunday if DeJean had legal representation in connection with the incident, according to PEOPLE. The 20-year-old is a member of the University of South Dakota's football team, but didn't appear in any games during the 2024 season, instead competing on the scout team in practices, according to the program's website.

Beckett re-shared the Eagles' post announcing his brother being selected as a first-team All-Pro along with fellow cornerback Quinyon Mitchell on his Instagram Story prior to his arrest. Cooper DeJean was selected by the Eagles at No. 40 overall in the second-round of the 2024 NFL Draft and was also selected to the Pro Bowl for the first time in 2025.

The former Iowa standout recorded an interception for a touchdown during the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX win against the Kansas City Chiefs last February. Philadelphia is set to host the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card Round on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
