Reba McEntire shared adorable throwback photos with her son, Shelby Blackstock, as she celebrated his 36th birthday on Monday (February 23).
McEntire, 70, said it “seems like yesterday when our journey started together,” she wrote in her caption on Instagram. “Happy Birthday, Shelby! Love you with all my heart.”
McEntire welcomed Shelby Blackstock with her ex-husband, music manager Narvel Blackstock, in 1990 in Nashville, Tennessee. McEntire and Narvel Blackstock were married from 1989 to 2015. Narvel Blackstock is also a father to Shelby Blackstock’s siblings, late talent manager Brandon Blackstock, Shawna Rene Blackstock and Chassidy Celeste Blackstock. McEntire, now engaged to actor Rex Linn after more than five years of dating, previously shared with PEOPLE that “they were my kids.
