Amy's kids just started back up at school for the 2018 school year. This winter they will round out their first year in the United States, as well as a full year of English schooling.
Along with learning a new language and a new culture, her kids are also learning gestures and actions from the other students and adults they are around. While this is all really great for kids, sometimes it can also be bad. They learn things that may not be a great thing for them to learn or know about.
Her son came home after school one day and asked his parents "what's this finger mean?" while holding up the middle finger and of course to their shock, they explained it wasn't something he should use.
Listen below as Amy talks about the moment with her son.
