NADA'S BLOG: Saving Face

When it comes to skin care or makeup I was a late (LATE) bloomer. I barely wore anything more than mascara until way after college and skin care to me was a little SPF moisturizer and some makeup remover wipes.

And that was when I didn't fall asleep tired in my full face of makeup and then just touched it up the next morning -- ew, I know.

So needless to say I made some changes. First step -- find someone to teach me what I needed to know. And basically, Maegan at Skin Pharm Nashville saved my life face.

Here's the thing I've learned: Adult Acne is REAL, yo. But for real, why can't that just go away already?! I went through the horrible pimple phase in middle and high school and I'm over it. And I know I'm not the only one. But acne happens to every one and for a lotta reasons -- diet, stress, hormones, or basically any reason at all.

I was breaking out BAD on my chin and was feeling self conscious. You know what I'm talking about: the adding the snapchat filter, show only the other side of your face kinda self conscious.

Chin acne for women is hormones and stress. RAISES HAND. So daily routine was important but so was internally fixing some issues like what I talked about in my real heavy first blog

And sometimes, drastic times call for (not-so) drastic measures like CMA Awards pimple "popping" with steroid shots. Real-life issues here people, don't look away. But do if you're scared of needles:
