TMSG: Police Officer Buys Diapers For Shoplifting Mom

One of today's 'Tell Me Something Good' stories comes out of Maryland, where a police officer went above and beyond his call of duty.

Officer Bennett Johns of Laurel Police Department responded to a grocery story after a woman was accused of stealing $15 worth of diapers. The woman confessed she purchased groceries, but didn't have enough to buy the diapers she needed for her son.

So this is when Officer Bennett Johns stepped in to help. He did give her a citation, but also purchased the diapers FOR her.
