8 Year Old Donates Beloved Doll To Harvey Victims

When a child overhear's a conversation between adults, most of the time, it's not a good thing. But in this situation, it definitely was. An 8 year old girl named Lilly, who's parents survived Hurricane Katrina, overheard her parents talking to friends about going down to help in Texas after Harvey hit.

Unfortunately, Lilly's father had to work and couldn't make it down. Lilly heard this and immediately went to her room and came back with a bag full of toys to donate.

In this bag of toys was Lilly's favorite possession, her doll. And she attached a note to it that will break and melt your heart ...

"Dear Little Girl, I hope you like my new doll and her things. Take good care of her and have fun. She was a good friend to me and will be a friend to you."

This world would be a better place if we were all a little more like Lilly B.
