Today's tell me something good is about saving lives, acting fast and doing what you can even in a place you wouldn't expect.
Susan Pendygraft was eating breakfast with her fiancée at Country Cabin Restaurant in Sterling Heights when she noticed a boy fall onto the floor. The boy, Robert Brown III, was shaking and not breathing.
Susan was scared to be the one to do it, but she jumped in to give the boy compressions for what felt like hours.
The emergency responders arrived and shocked Robert three times, bringing him back to life. Now the boy has a pacemaker after doctors discovered he had a congenital heart defect, similar to the one who took his own mother's life.
Susan is happy she could be there to help and the boy and his father are forever grateful.
