74-Year-Old Man Walks The Streets With Sign 'Need Kidney 4 Wife'

Wayne Winters is taking as many steps possible (literally) to help find his wife a kidney.

Wayne's wife, Deanne, has stage 5 kidney failure. Worried about his wife and wanting to help ease the suffering, Wayne is determined to find a kidney match.

After hearing of the story of Larry Swilling, an elderly SC man who carried a sign around a few years to find a kidney for his own ailing wife and eventually found a match. Inspired, Wayne set out to do the same.

Wayne created a sandwich board with one side asking for a kidney for his wife with his number and her blood type. The other side says "1,000 kidneys needed in Utah and Idaho."
