More on Dave Winters:
"I began working at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in NYC in the early 90s. The Museum was founded by Zachary Fisher, a great American patriot who initiated a number of non-profit efforts supporting military and veteran’s families. One of his efforts involved providing immediate financial support to families of military personnel lost in action; I began managing this effort for him in 1994. When Zachary passed away in 1999, his family decided to continue that effort, and ultimately established a new organization, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, to carry it out. So I have been involved with the Fund since its founding in 2000. I became president in 2011."
