TMSG: ‘Miracle’ Preemie Baby the Size of a Soda Can Defies Odds

A woman named Robin went into early labor and little Eliora Schneider was born a preemie at just 21 weeks and 6 days.

The parents thought they would lose their new sweet girl, but Eliora "Ellie" survived the birth at just 14 oz., hardly heavier than a soda can. Ellie spent 2 days longer in the woman than the earliest premature baby that's been recorded to go on to survive.

Ellie seems on track to be a healthy little girl with doctors calling her progress "remarkable" just five months after the miracle birth.

What a miracle miss Ellie definitely is! Our positive love and hearts are with this family. If you want to help the Schneider family, they have a GoFundMe page to help with Ellie's medical costs. You can also follow along on her progress with this Facebook page.
