Susan Friedman of Laguna Beach purchased a 458 Spider Ferrari and recently brought it into a service center in Costa Mesa, California. A worker left the key on a passenger seat and shortly after it security video showed a man in a Ferrari jacket walking onto the lot and taking it.
Israel Perez Rangel was arrested on the charges of theft for the car. He was found two weeks later after asking for gas money, fleeing then hiding in bushes.
Friedman ended up getting paid from insurers and purchased an even better car, a 2018 Lamborghini Huracan.
