Amy and her husband adopted their children from Haiti and after a long 5 year waiting period, they were finally brought home to the United States during Christmas of 2017.
The kids are at ages where they do remember some things from their lives in Haiti. One of those things being Voodoo dolls. Amy's kids were given these nicely sewn dolls that were set on their beds every night. Amy kept finding the dolls in their closets, but couldn't figure out why.
The kids told her they remind them of Voodoo dolls and their bad memories with them. Listen to Amy talk about it below!
