This seemingly continues to be a right of passage as a child. We always see in the news "Child Calls 911," so many times it's an accident mostly because they don't know that they're calling an emergency line only meant for emergencies. Then it becomes a fun learning moment and possibly a scare.
Amy learned this with her daughter. While at home, her daughter came up to her with her phone saying someone was calling. Turns out the 911 operator called back to ensure everything was ok, this is how Amy found out her daughter had called in the first place.
Listen below to Amy talk about the moment and how things all went down.
See below some photos of Amy with her daughter at her birthday party.
today we’re celebrating the birth a very special girl that has forever changed our lives. 🙌🏼 it’s a low key evening...just being a family...as Saturday’s situation in our front yard w ridiculously massive inflatables + piñata + candy galore + too much pizza + cupcakes + ice cream was enough of a party to last us until next year. 🎉 anyway...this girl is growing up so fast...even in the 4 months that she’s been in our home...she’s grown!!! make it stop. 😭 and OH MY GOODNESS swipe to see a pic of her from 2013...the year she was destined to become our daughter...so little!! ✨ looking back at these pics + videos to post here on Instagram...I can’t help but think about her mom...and what she might be feeling on her daughter’s birthday...and how I want to share these w her!!! she should know that her daughter is LOVED...and then some! ❤️ maybe one day we will be in a place where I can share these things with her...until then she’s on my heart and we pray hard for her on days that might be particularly difficult...such as today. so thankful that Stachira was born and that we were chosen to raise her...just hope we get this parenting thing down! 🤞🏼 #adoption #birthday #espwa
