CMA Music Fest is the one time a year that country artists stick around Nashville for more than just a couple of days. The week commemorates the CMT Music Awards as well as 4 days of various concerts throughout the day plus huge concerts each night at Nissan Stadium. To kick off the week, media get a chance to catch up with the artists before big career moments at the CMT Remotes.
Each year during the CMT Remotes, Bobby, Amy and Lunchbox conduct the interviews with each artist that comes through. This year, Eddie asked for a chance to interview someone and Bobby gave him a chance with a newer artist on the country scene, "Yours" singer Russell Dickerson.
This comes after Eddie's few weeks of trying to "steal" everyone on the shows' specialty segments like Amy's Morning Corny & Lunchbox's Bonehead of the Day. Eddie says it's all because he wants to help the show and contribute more.
