A zoo in Cairo, Egypt is making lots of headlines after trying to pull a fast one on all of their attendees. They were first accused of disguising two donkeys as zebras, painting them with black and white stripes when a student posted a picture with one of them.
Guest Mahmoud Sarhad posted a photo the disguised animals on Facebook. Zoo director Mohamed Sultan told a local radio station that despite a smudged black paint on the animal, they were zebras. However, a veterinarian confirmed that they indeed weren't zebras.
Zebras have black snouts and much smaller ears than those of donkeys.
