Bobby Bones, host of radio shows The Bobby Bones Show and Country Top 30 with Bobby Bones as well as the podcast BobbyCast just got a huge promotion within iHeartMedia.
The news broke on July 30th that Bones was promoted to VP, creative director of iHeartCountry, the largest country broadcast radio group in the United States. In this new position, Bones will keep hosting his current shows as well as work on new creative programming initiatives.
Bones will also be adding a new show to his roster: Women of iHeartCountry, featuring female country arts, both established and up-and-coming. The show will be co-hosted with Amy Brown, the co-host of The Bobby Bones Show.
Bones told Billboard,
“This is the opportunity I’ve been chasing my entire career. Thanks to Bob Pittman, Rich Bressler and Kevin Legrett for their years of support and for the space to build this partnership.”
Something that may be small for most people, but something truly big for Bones in the new promotion... a parking spot at the radio studios.
