TMSG: Deputies Rescue Baby Not Breathing During Traffic Stop

Two sheriff deputies are being hailed as heroes after a recent traffic stop lead to saving a life.

Deputy Tyler Milton saw a vehicle driving erratically on Lakewood Boulevard in California. Milton conducted a traffic stop and when the vehicle pulled over, a man quickly got out with a baby who was unresponsive and not breathing.

Milton put out a radio call for help and began trying to resuscitate the child. Deputy Alissa Farrington arrived at the scene within seconds and transported Milton and the boy to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. While en route, Milton performed CPR on the baby, who began breathing on his own before they arrived.

Dramatic news video shows at least seven patrol vehicles pulling up with their lights and sirens going off, a deputy quickly jumps out with the child in his arms and rushes inside.

No evidence of foul play was reported and the infant is listed in stable condition.
