Bobby Talks About Playing Theater He Couldn't Afford as a Child

Bobby Bones comes from a little town called Mountain Pine in Arkansas. The town is roughly an hour outside of the bigger city known as Little Rock. If you are from the area you know that Little Rock is where most big things happen. Particularly concerts and events. When Bones was younger, he couldn't afford to go to a field trip at Robinson Theater in Little Rock. However, as an adult, he sold out a show at the theater for his Red Hoodie Comedy Tour.

He wrote on Instagram,

"When I was in 5th grade, I had to act sick and miss school on a day my class went on a field trip to Little Rock . because I couldn’t afford tickets to watch a play at Robinson Theater. Tonight I’m playing a sold out show in the same theater i never got to see. If I start crying while im telling jokes tonight.... it’s ok."

This was definitely a full circle moment for Bones. He talked about the whole experience below on his nationally syndicated radio show The Bobby Bones Show.
