If Amazon is your guilty pleasure already, stop reading this and just turn around now. The company is now testing a new tool to make it even easier to find things that you didn't even know you needed.
The new tool is called Amazon Scout and it will help you find new products to buy based on your likes and dislikes. With just a thumbs up or thumbs down on product pictures, Amazon Scout will then learn what you like and show you other products based on your choices.
This is a similar system that already is happening in music streaming services like the iHeartRadio App, it only makes sense to use it with our favorite online shopping services. Amazon Scout is currently available for home furniture, kitchen and dining, women's shoes, home décor, patio furniture, lighting, and bedding. There will be more categories added soon such as clothing, handbags, and toys.
Amazon hasn't publicly announced the tool yet, but the service is live now.
