This 40 Pound Cheeseburger Pizza Costs $2K & Takes 3 Hours To Make

Champion Pizza in New York City is helping you no longer choose between a pizza and a cheeseburger... in a HUGE way. They are serving up a massive 40-pound cheeseburger pizza that is made with layers of pizza dough and burger toppings.

The founder and CEO of the company shared that the loaded pies take approximately three hours to make and require at least three days of advance notice. Not only that, the pizzas are so large and heavy, it takes four people to hoist the pie into the oven to be cooked. The ingredients in the pizza include hamburger meat, mozzarella, and American cheeses, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onions and then a quartet of cheeseburger layers.

One more thing to note... the massive cheeseburger pizza costs $2,000. That money is not going to the company though, all of the profits from the dish will be donated directly to those who have been impacted by Hurricane Florence.

Surprisingly, the company has sold three to five cheeseburger pizzas per week since adding it to the menu. If you want to try this with your friends for a good cause, the dish will only be on the menu until Monday, October 15th.
