After having lunch with her sister, Elaine Schaffstall was on her way to shop when her heart suddenly stopped. Schaffstall was still behind the wheel of her car and on the road when it happened. She nearly missed a light pole before hitting a tree and ending up in a law firm's parking lot.
Schaffstall doesn't remember a thing and notes that she "left this world." However, Jill Ysac a respiratory therapist was nearby and got to work on her. Ysac performed 10 minutes of CPR to revive Schaffstall, bringing her back to life.
Immediately after the accident, Schaffstall had no idea who saved her life but wanted to thank them. Her niece wrote a Facebook post to track the person down and after 100 shares, the message reached Ysac. The two women had a chance to talk and Schaffstall says she will forever think of Ysac as an angel.
