TMSG: A Teen Made $35,000 For Plowing Snow

A northern Idaho teen said he made $35,000 in four days the early-February snowstorms in Seattle.

Eighteen-year-old David Holston owns his own snow plowing company in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was visiting his mother in the Seattle and just so happened to bring along his plowing equipment.

Due to the snowy weather, Holston posted an ad on Craigslist and he says his phone didn't stop ringing.

For comparison, most websites average the hourly snow removal cost to be about $110, ranging from as low as $40 to as high as $400. Holston charged $750 an hour and he says his customers didn't seem to mind the price, they were just happy to have someone to remove the snow.

Holston says he plans to donate 20% of his earnings to his church.
