An elementary school principal in Texas reads her students a bedtime story over Facebook live every Tuesday night; she calls it "Tucked-In Tuesdays".
Dr. Belinda George is a first year principal at Homer Drive Elementary in Beaumont, Texas; she started reading to her "scholars" as she calls them back in December. Her goal was to bridge the gap between home and school and to form bonds with her students and their families.
Parents love that George takes the time to continue teaching their kids outside of school hours. According to Good Morning America "Anyone can listen to Georgeread bedtime storiesfrom her living room at 7:30 pm Central Time on Tuesday nights."
George told GMA,"I love children, and I just want to help my parents in any way that I can... I am just doing what I love and that is honoring children."
