Meet Scotty West, The Man Benefitting From Patriotic PIMPINJOY Line

Army Specialist Scotty West joined the military in 2003. While deployed in Irag, West lost both of his legs in an IED blast that struck his vehicle. He lost an excessive amount of blood, both of his lungs collapsed, and he flatlined multiple times. He woke up at the Walter Reed Medical Center and went on to have 38 surgeries in 30 days.

West has been awarded the Purple Heart, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and the Parachutist Badge. Now, West lives with his wife and their kids in Arkansas.

The family needed a home that could accommodate West's new lifestyle after his tragic situation in Iraq. Thanks to Building Homes For Heroes, they will be getting an ADA certified home in Arkansas, but they need help with the funds to make it all happen. For this reason, The Shop Forward and The Bobby Bones Show have dedicated all of the proceeds from our brand new Patriotic PIMPINJOY line to West and his family's new home. The line goes on sale Friday, May 31st at 10 a.m. CT here.
