A group of friends in Dublin, Georgia went to a local Cracker Barrel with the intention of changing one server's life.
Janet Ballard has been a server at Cracker Barrel for more than a decade. On a typical Wednesday, she was assigned a table of 12 for lunch. After a great meal and good connections with the 12 individuals, Ballard received a Christmas Card at the end of the meal.
In the Christmas Card was a $100 tip from each person at the table, totaling $1,200. James Deal, one of the individuals at the table, shared a post on Facebook writing,
"What a wonderful day with friends as we celebrate our 1st Annual 100 dollar breakfast. We all gave our waitress Janet a $1200.00 tip. May God have the Glory for all that is done in his name. Merry Christmas Janet!!!!"
The individuals at the table said it wasn't only Ballard's incredible service that inspired Deal and his friends to each contribute $100 to her tip, they felt that a generous blessing was the right thing to do.
