Morgan Wallen Tells All On His Life And Career On Recent BobbyCast

Morgan Wallen stopped by The BobbyCast studio and addressed everything in his life and career lately.

During his time talking with Bobby Bones, he shared his time on The Voice, his first record deal, the times he's felt lonely, his plan to return to the SNL stage, and his piano skills. Here's some highlights from the episode, but make sure to the listen to the whole episode here.

His Mom Signed Him Up For The Voice

Morgan talked about how he didn’t really feel like he fit in while competing on The Voice. They wanted him to be a pop singer, and that wasn't what he wanted. He actually only went on the show because his mom signed him up. 

First Record Deal

Morgan never planned to move to Nashville and become an artist. He moved here after his time on The Voice and started writing songs. He eventually got a meeting at Big Loud Records, where he auditioned and got a deal.

He Has Lonely Moments

Morgan revealed that in recent weeks, he completely turned off his phone to clear his head. He opened up about how it can feel lonely after performing for thousands of people, but then at times feeling like it’s something he doesn’t even want to do anymore. He said the feeling is like a drug.  

He Will Return To SNL Someday

He shared that the plan at some point was to go back and perform on SNL. He talked about the incident in Alabama and how he wants to be a better example for his son. 

He Shows Off His Piano Skill

Morgan would normally play piano at his shows. After the Interview, he went into Bobby’s house to play a song he wrote called “Spin You Around” on Bobby’s piano. You can watch it here.
