A family's dog became a hero after her actions saved the daughter while out on a walk.
The daughter Haley Moore and their dog Clover were out on a walk when Moore suddenly started having a seizure. Video from a neighbor's surveillance camera shows how it all happened. Moore collapses and Clover checks on her. Then Clover sees a truck approaching and decides to free her leash from Moore's hand and runs out into the road to block the driver's path.
The driver, Dryden Oatway, told the news, "It was really impressive, the dog actually blocked my way. She kind of backed into the road to block my truck. The whole time she was backing down the street she had eyes on Haley [...] She kept her distance from me but made sure her owner was OK and that was amazing."
Clover got the attention of a neighbor who also came over to help. They took Clover home and when the family and Clover returned, they saw Moore being treated by paramedics. Thankfully Moore is ok, but the cause of her seizure is unknown. Moore told the news that she's grateful though knowing Clover will be there for her, "If this ends up happening again, I feel 10 times safer and I know she will be there for me."
