TMSG: Dad Saves Kid as Car Crashes Into Donut Shop

A quick-thinking father in Colorado saved his son after a car ended up inside of the donut shop they were in.

Surveillance footage showed Allan Taylor and his 4-year-old son Zane standing at the counter of City Donuts in Aurora, Colorado. A few moments later a vehicle crashed through the storefront and headed straight for Zane. Taylor told KDVR, "I was paying and doing what I always do, I glance at him and make sure he's fine, and when I glanced I saw the car coming through the door."

He dove after Zane to get him out of the car's path. The car hit Taylor as he was grabbing his son Zane. According to the Denver Channel, the Taylor and his son were treated for minor injuries and released. As for the car, it was stolen and the suspects jumped out of the crash and fled.

While the suspects have not been caught, Kirk Manzanares, a consultant for City Donuts who witnessed the incident said Zane can have a free donut every Saturday for life.
