Super Hungry Before Your Period? Here’s Why, With @BrookeRozzie

Our guest today is @BrookeRozzie (nutritional and fitness coach + expert in women’s hormones). Amy asked Brooke to start off with a little bit of her eating disorder story from her childhood and how she got into recovery. Brooke is a hormone expert…so she also shared why it’s important to not restrict when you’re leading up to your cycle…you need the calories! If you’re craving certain things or you’re more hungry than usual during that time…it makes sense…and we need to listen to our bodies! Amy shared her experience of restricting when her body for sure needed more calories and that ultimately would lead to a binge for her. Learning to navigate what eating adequately looks like as you enter recovery is difficult…but it is possible!!
