Some listeners believe it's actually a cyst. They shared that theirs was caused by injuries that happened early on in life and they needed to have multiple surgeries to remove it.
Amy thinks she might have it because when she was in second grade, she flew off the slide at school and landed right on her tailbone. She’s not sure if that’s what caused this deformity, but it’s there and doesn’t know if it could potentially be a cyst and it could be removed. She’s happy she’s not the only one with this problem and theirs shared their stories. She’s going to a hip specialist to get it checked out.
