Lunchbox Asks Strangers on the Street When To Stop Saying “Happy New Year”

There is no clear rule on when to stop saying Happy New Year, so Lunchbox asked strangers at the grocery store when they thought the appropriate time to stop was.

The first stranger he asked said after the third day into the new year you shouldn’t say it anymore. The second stranger said you could say it until the end of January, but once February 1st hits, you need to start saying “Happy Valentines” day. The third stranger said until the end of January and that they wouldn’t say it once the month is over. Bobby Bones agreed that it’s appropriate to say “Happy New Year” until the end of January, but once the month is over, you shouldn’t say it anymore.
